Seems too long for a mtech1 spoiler, I would say its a late Alpina spoiler

Its an e28 spoiler perhaps.
These are larger than a e30 spoiler so would account for the overlap.
The Internet - It has proven to be worthless, and is nothing but a repository for perverts.

But it does look like it could be wearing a 'pina dam up front so could well be a 'pina rear...

At first I was thinking the same Bab but I cant make out the ribs on the spoiler although the picture isn't very clear.
E28 MTech spoiler is 2" longer than the Mtech1 spoiler therefore does overlap like the one in the picture.

First prize goes to mr alpina123!
It is indeed an alpina 157 produced from 1987.

That's the earlier alpina spoiler used from '83 to '87.
Fitted to stuff like C1 2.3's, C2 2.5's and B6 2.8's.
