Lemforder OEM spec.
For the front lollipop (TCA) bushes its worth upgrading to E30 M3 type as it pushes the front wheels forward a tad and improves handling.

Cheers I'll get them on order tomorrow.
I'm guessing the cheap kits are crap then?
The old "pay for what you get" applies.
Wondering if you could help me with advice on shocks?
I'm swaying towards bilstein b8s and a set of eibach springs (because I can get them cheap)
Any preference or experience on this side of things?
Thanks a lot!

The only bilsteins ive used are B4's, ive ran quite a few set ups Eibach, Apex, H&R etc and ive always gone back to H&R.
Im running a 60/40 cupkit and like it.
I hear B8's can be a little harsh on public roads.

I've heard the same thing to be honest and after having 2 slip disks recently and hoping to drive it to Le Mans next year maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way!
What h&r setup do you run if u don't mind me asking?
Cheers

When I get my head around this technology I'll upload some photos.
Many thanks

B8's are fine if you have normal sized tyres, if you have low profiles you will want softer dampers. All depends on how hard you want to drive it
Dont forget these for the rear bushes

Great help again. As I've decided to let the motorbike go (due to back issues) I think I'll head down the b8 route.
Thanks for the heads up on tyres!
I will most certainly be purchasing myself some of those bush fillers, quality invention!

Op, don`t forget poly bushes will be harder. Any pot holes/uneven road surface/bumps and vibrations will be felt much more. Whole car will be stiffer. Also, they might squeak after while. Want softer and quieter ride? Go for Lemforder, OEM rubber.
I`m driving E30, 1989, 325i, 4 door. Restoring 1990, 4 door.

http://www.strongflex.eu/en/bmw-e30-82- ... sport.html or how to ruin an E30 in one easy move! Leave the plastic rubbish for the Corsa/Saxo brigade.

Print this page out and take it to your local motor factors, and make sure all the parts they supply are Lemforder, Meyle or Febi:

So I'm guessing people don't use Cotswold bmw for there bits and pieces? As the e30 wiki is way under the prices I have just been quoted? I understand prices fluctuate but not by +100%!! To be honest the customer service was absolutely shocking in my opinion, anyone had this trouble? Recommend anywhere else they use?
Thanks in advance

Which parts have gone up? Prices are the one thing the Wiki isn't very good at quoting, as they change with alarming regularity.

E46 m3 top shock mounts £54.74?
Trailing arm bushes £43.94?
Basically everything on the wiki plus near on £20 on top?
I can understand prices changing but really?!
I guess I'll be looking elsewhere!

I normally order my parts from a Lithuanian dealer since they're only next door and they have a webstore. Their total for the Wiki list of bushes, not including nuts, bolts and the control arms, is almost bang on 600 quid. The hefty prices are the diff bush (112 quid) and the front M3 strut mounts (100 quid EACH).
In contrast, the E46 rear top mounts are only 40 quid for the pair, and the trailing arm bushes are bang on 40 quid. That'll give you a guideline as to what BMW Europe's prices are.
Oh yeah, 5% discount and free courier shipping if you sign up to the website
