Noticed a bit of front wheel wobble and traced it to worn front wishbone rear bushes. Just wondering instead of going for just the bush, would these work, they include the bracket. It states in the ad that they fit the E36 and the Z3, im not sure if the E30 shares its parts with the 36 and Z3. Or am I wrong. Here is the link.

They will fit but ide buy a set of M3 ones from BMW and get them pushed into the old brackets. Still 20 quid is a good price for a pair with brackets.

Thats intesesting, food for thought.
The only reason I wanted the brackets included, is because i would have liked to do the job myself. I havent got a press.
Am sure these brackets are hard to get off the car, do they require cutting off?

Brackets need 2 bolts removing and then pulling off the end of the wishbones.
You may need to hacksaw the rubber then cut through the sleeve afterwards.
Most garages will press bushes in for a tenner so 20quid done with new bushes is good value but they maybe cheap and nasty and you end up replacing them in 6/12months.

My garage are saying £30 each side, which now sounds expensive. I think i will replace with the ebay items for now. Then use my original brackets, take them to get M3 ones pressed in and fit myself. I think thats going to be the plan.

Sounds like a good idea.

A large enough vice is sufficient to press the bushes in and out.
The M3 bushes are about 30 a pair and wont need doing again for a long time unlike the standard bushes.
No point doing a job twice.

Yes.
Interesting to not that you can get them from someone other than BMW now.

One thing to bear in mind is when fitting these eccentric M3 bushes is that it alters castor by moving the position of the wheel forward which improves steering feel but due to the geometry change you will need to have the wheel alignment adjusted which is only toe on an E30.

One question, these bushes holes are not centred, so when putting back on the car. Do the non centred holes face towards the centre of the car or face outwards.

The holes go toward the outside of the car.
The bushes have an arrow on them and the brackets have a dot cast into them. These two points need to line up when pressing in the bush.

The holes will be facing each other, or as you say the center of the car

No they don't. The holes go to the outside as has been explained above, which swings the wheel forward in the arch.
cheers,
