Hi everyone my quest to stop my steering shaking over 80mph on my e30 m3 goes on, i have had the wheels balanced on numerous times, i have had all the bushes checked and there was play in the steering arms so i replaced them along with new track rod ends, this has not cured the problem, the tech felt for play in the rack there was a little but its not leaking, my question to all of you learned s14 people is does this sound like a steering rack problem, the wheels are all straight and the tyres are new so i cant think what else it could be
(the wheels i have are genuine 16" bbs bmw wheels so it is not a spiggot ring problem and definately not balancing.)
Also does any one know of anyware that balances wheels whilst they are on the car in the bucks/berkshire area
Any help would be wonderful thanks
