twin pipe, single pipe?

Hi, my single pipe fuel pump packed up and left me stranded, whipped one out of a breaker but it has twin pipes on the top. Is there anyway this can still be safely used or do I need to buy a single pipe one. Many thanks.

You can change the actual pump over, which involves soldering two wires, (get them the right way around - ask daimlerman), or you can blank the second pipe off. This is best done with a short piece of fuel hose, a short piece of solid rod of some sort, and a couple of hose clips.
