Whilst renewing a few suspension parts on the front of the car, I had the chassis plate off and noticed one of the transmission cooler lines was weeping slightly from the fitting on the hose going to the cooler unit.
I'm going to replace the line soon, and would like to know a few things;
Can you remove the hose fittings without the special BMW removal tool?
I read a lot of the time it's a worn Oring in the hose fitting that can be changed, any experience on this?
Also is there anything else I should know it look out for?
Thanks
330ci tranny cooler lines.

Ok so I spoke to BMW about orings that sit inside the quick connector couplings on the lines, they haven't a clue what I'm talking about. So after a bit of digging around online, I found that the tranny cooler lines and power steering lines both use the same 1.78x10.82mm o-rings inside the quick connect fittings.
I've just got a pack of 10 for £5.50. Good old BMW wanted £173 for new tranny cooler lines. With that £168 quid saving I think i'll put it towards a new PS4.
Here they are anyway;
