e36 or e46 steering rack to change

I think I need to replace my old e30 steering rack with e36 or e46 steering rack, does is it same?

for good and healthy steering rack how much average cost?

and whos is sold it here?

067 clubsport steering rack from a e46 with modification parts from a fellow zoner called DanThe will fit.

Best to use the E46 rack....should be a lot newer...use the existing E30 tie-rod ends but you will need some 14 mm spacers for the rack I believe and have to modify the connection to the steering shaft. I am not sure which pipes you need to use..is your car LHD or RHD?

You can check the site www.e30tech.com/forum....look at the "ground control steering section" but bear in mind they cater mainly for LHD E30s.

I am suggesting this as it could be a bit pricey getting a full kit shipped to Indonesia from the UK from DanThe as suggested above!

So you use e30 outer and e46 inner is that correct
