Alpina c227

Classic heroes don't mind sitting on people's cars, as its not really costly when they do not have splash out the cash.driftmaster808 wrote:On the flip side now classic heroes is asking 17 k for it which is just plain silly when you can still get a decent e30 m3 for 25k with maybe a little higher mileage. But give me a dogleg manual m3 over an alpina auto any day of the week.
Considering E30 M3 still come up for sale around the £15k mark, I would agree on choosing the dogleg manual M3

Even some of the £20k plus ones need a load of work!

Agreed you might get lucky and get a solid one for 25k if someone was in hurry to sell.

So what's the history, work conducted, spec etc. any more pics and info. Obviously, some zoners know this car, but most probably do not.

Must have changed his mind about selling up since there's been no response to the original post.

No i would still consider selling it, its just finding a good sport to use as an every day car and getting the right money i feel its worth, i will try and get some better pics up but to be honest seeing it in the flesh is always better.
Perhaps you could e mail them to a member of the admin team? I can never figure out how to load them up either! Looking forward to seeing pics of it. Is this the one that was for sale a few years ago at that garage who sold ur quattros?
sounds like your describing your alpina replica sport, or are you trying to establish if his alpina is a replica and is a replica of your alpina replica ? as yours was obviously the 1st and best alpina replica aroundbss325i wrote:I dont know the car but i saw it at Gaydon.Jim320i wrote:Do you know the car Barry? I seen it at the Coalville meet too and it looked good.
Would look good in your garage andy...
Its a tech 2 kitted car, Is it a 325i Sport used as the base car bem?
Karl, seriously. You are making yourself look even more of a helmet!polsta wrote:sounds like your describing your alpina replica sport, or are you trying to establish if his alpina is a replica and is a replica of your alpina replica ? as yours was obviously the 1st and best alpina replica aroundbss325i wrote:I dont know the car but i saw it at Gaydon.Jim320i wrote: Do you know the car Barry? I asked the question purely as C2 2.7's were based on any 325i including 325i Sports so was asking if it was based on a sport or a normal 325i SE and had a tech 2 kit fitted.
Not that it has anything to do with you!
Or my car which incidentally has no more Alpina parts on it, some of which you pm'd me about when i was selling.
Bit of a recurring theme there.
How many pm's have you sent B7 and Pacer about their engines?
And still not bought one?
How is your engine by the way?
Still at HKF's?

That rule has already been pointed out Barry don't worry.
Now lets get back on topic lads

Whoever is winding up/stalking whoever, it stops now, if it continues action will be taken. This is the last warning on this subject. As Chris says, play nicely, I don't fancy banning people, on Christmas day!!!!!

Yeh i will try that thanks, as for that garage i dont think it was got it off a bloke who got it back in 2008, im only the 4th owner i think thats quite low for a car like this and it is genuine based on a 325i sport got all the paper work and engine was stamped and built buy mark atkins who i was informed worked for alpina at the time, im just in two minds what to do sell it or keep it.brettski wrote:Perhaps you could e mail them to a member of the admin team? Tis the car I was going to buy last year but left it a few days too late and the guy sold it on. Was advertised a couple of times with a price tag of over £10k which came down twice and eventually sold for around the £7k mark.
Stunning vehicle and I will love to buy if the seller lets it go in my price range.

I might aswell keep it as it owes abit more then you offered not being funny like you said it's an investment, but would still like a good sport though.beautymeanswheels wrote:Tis the car I was going to buy last year but left it a few days too late and the guy sold it on.
