The latter, there was a late big hub MTech wheel that needed sniffing / licking !

is that frost on the side of the car or a bad rattle-can job ?

e30topless said : Proper BMW's have 4 headlights, last of the run was the E30 and E34/E32 anything after that is just complete shite

its dry inside, just its been sat for a 2 weeks and not moved till Mo came. The A/C soon cleared the mist up. All ok with her? MPGness on way home?
I'll wager its never seen a spray gun since the factory

It needs some better wheels.
Those E46 16" and 17" 7 spokes are so bland imo.
Style 32's FTW!

Ordered Meyle HD rear shock mounts with gaskets. £13.50 for the pair. Much better then paying £54 from the dealer.
Along with rear bump stops for £13.75. New wheels will going on which are smaller.

Decided to swap my winter wheels on. In the process and whipped out the arch liners out for a clean.
The void between the sill and wing was full of dirt.
Nice and clean. Will spray wax in this cavity later.
Dunlop SP Wintersport 4D tyres with Style 46 15" wheels. These were common on early 4 pot E46s and I used to think they were horrible. Its grown on me now and they are one of the few BMW alloys which are forged which means they only weigh 6.12 KG each. I've saved 17.52 KG of un-sprung weight all together.

Those and the early fine weave 15in bbs are my favourite e36 wheels, would like a set of either for the compact.
The ones you have were an e46 wheel really, but some very late e36s came on them too.
cheers,
harry

There was a very similar wheel on E36s common on the continent called style 34 which were a 7J width.

Nice e36, quick tip though. Buy/borrow a dehumidifier and leaving it in there for a day or so and have a look how much water collects.
You'd be surprised at how much moisture builds up inside over the years, especially with older cars with door/window seals that are past their best.
