on the engine bay loom, the "L" shaped black plastic/rubber, thatplug in to the various colored plastic connectors, for things like the sensors, and are non removable from the loom
how is it best to replace them ? can you by new ones or is it best to remove some with a bit of wire from another loom and join the wire ?
can you still buy the various yellow/grey/black/blue twin connector plug things from bmw ?

I snipped a load off an E36 - pretty much every connector in an E36 engine bay uses the same L-shaped plugs, but the black plastic surrounds are different so you'll need to source E30 versions.

ive got a spare e30 look i pulled out of a breaker last week luckily enough, just wondered if you could buy new replacements ?
any idea if the color plugs can be bought still ? as youl know they often are broken or break when you try to remove them , and are all very grubby
but ive gave it all a clean earlier, ordered up some more fabric loom tape, its the next job on the list
