Cab roof motor very hot!!!!!!!!

Hi, finally charged up the car battery and started the car today. All was well until I noticed a smell from the boot. Open it and the roof motor furthest right as you look in the boot was very hot? Disconnected the battery straight away and it's now cool to touch. Any ideas gents? I am also wanting to convert the roof from electric to manual so any links/ contacts to the people who supply the conversion kit would be much appreciated.

You need to put a meter across the motor...maybe it is not sensing that the roof is in the fully open/closed position so the motor runs constantly.

Or the mechanism may be very tight putting strain on the motor.
