facelift fuel guage sender plug wiring

Hi does anyone know the wiring for fitting a facelift guage sender to a cromie car. Unfortunately i don't have a facelift plug to look at. Both have 3 wires but does anybody know which colour goes to which pin or if you have a facelift sender plug laying around could you tell me the colours of the wires when looking at the plug from the front left to right ( - - - ) i can then cross ref the wiring to the cromie - Thanks ian

The temp gauge sender is either 1 or 2 cables, not 3? Are you sure you have the correct part?
