Thanks !

Unfortunately we retired on day two of three after the car sustained damage from a big rock underneath.

It will be running again in a few days :-)

Thank you very much !

A lot of time went in to preparing this car. We have had it for around a year now, but over the past few weeks it has had some major upgrades.

Improved S50 manifolds (custom modded)
Front ARB added (previous manifold stopped this)
Z3 steering rack
AVO "rally spec" E30 M3 struts with oversized dampers
Rally Prep billet alloy 6 pot brakes (still fit under 15's)
Ferodo Racing "DS3000" pads all round.
Rally Prep sump guard kit
Rally Prep steering linkage
Terratrip trip meter
Replacement S50B30 (the old one was getting tired and will be rebuilt)
8 x brand new Team Dynamics "pro rally" wheels with DMAC rubber
Freshly built Rally Prep 188mm 3.91 LSD with 4 clutches and modified ramp angles (37.5/45)

On day two of the event, the sump shield took a hit from a large rock which was half unearthed. The impact was enough to cave in the 10mm thick sump shield, bend the 2" steel tube support (which is mounted directly under the chassis rails), and crack the sump. It was enough of a whack to get the front wheels up in the air on rebound !

As soon as she is running again, we interested in taking it for a dyno session to see what power it is making.

The sump guard design has been modified already, and we are developing (in CAD) a shallow/wider/baffled e34 sump kit from laser cut/tig welded steel now, this will simply dent instead of cracking in the event of flying stones/debris or any impact.

We are really looking forward to getting the car out again soon, for more tuning of the new suspension !

We ran a few gopro's on the last event !

On board slidey action coming soon ;-)

And thank you for the kind comments.

It makes a change from what is normally seen here yes.

The car is constantly evolving and we are also about to build a few rally spec e21's for next year :-D

I'd love to know more about the E21s, I've got a 323i with an M50 2.5 which would be ideal for rallying winkeye
