IN DOOR car cover.

With winter coming, I've been considering an indoor car cover for the cabby (it's presently covered with an assortment of blankets, old curtains etc).

I'm not after a £250+ bespoke job, so found these two on fleabay.

What are your thoughts or experiences, and which one would you go for?

It's for the car, not to keep Verde or Maxfield warm in the boot, before you ask!

Depends how soft they are on the inside, you usually find they are just plastic/nylon, so it will scratch if there is any dust under it.
Still not found one I like the look/price of myself

I'm not sure on the Cosmos but I have a Metex cover and it's not that soft if I'm honest. It's quite heavy duty for an indoor cover. I actually don't use it anymore.

Therefore voted Cosmos.

I have posted pics up before - but here are a couple for you Needs a wash and polish..

It's quite highly spec'd - OBC, HLWW, Heated seats, door mirrors, locks, electric (working) roof etc. It's sitting on Eibach springs and B4 dampers.
Ignore the 17" BK reps. I have a set of 15" BBS waiting to go on.

I learned it was previously owned by a fellow zoner - "DEATH!!"

Need one myself , got a cheap one off eBay it looks ok but not that soft, most day out door and indoor :/ , most specific indoor are tailored and not cheapish

Used a brand new painter decorator dust sheet last year , was not bad and non abrasive, but want a proper one to just protect paint

Cosmos describes their cover as "super soft". I've contacted them to see if they will provide a swatch.

Assuming it has a Clifford, all you need is to refit the eyebrows you have in safe storage and that turd would have the full house, I;E option code 786 BRUV PAKET

Hahaha. It was purchased with the full "786 Bruv Paket" including clifford alarm, but surprisingly from a white homosexual (presumably) - looked the council type TBH.

Strictly speaking ,as it is just a councilled up cab, with a Tech 2 kit nailed on in some Ilford lock up, it should not have any M badges at all

That front valence is from the BMW aero body kit.

Quite rare.

According to the previous owner; Mr Death, he paid for the aero body kit to go on, and at the time it cost £2k. The front valance is different to the usual tech 2, but I quite like it.

Some more info for the "haterz"... The M Sports suspension package surely justifies the M badges!

It was "Slammed" when I bought it, and a nightmare to drive - you couldn't take your eyes off the road, and if you hit a pothole, it would shatter teeth. However, Barry advised on it's existing set up - thanks Baz.

I also realise the front seats are not cabby, along with the rear headrests. I don't think I'll be looking to change those, as i like the sports seats. If a set of immaculate cream ones ever come up, let me know Pete!

Front lamps are genuine smokers. The roof is brand new (3 years old now).

Foam on the handles, peel-off film and washable coating on the car. Plastic covers on the wheels.

Luckily, I buy 25 year old cars, i just remove the rust.

I emailed the supplier of the Cosmos cover requesting a material swatch. They said they couldn't provide this, but confirmed the material to be soft...

I noticed that the same item and seller is also on Amazon, which is probably the better place to buy one of these, as it allows anyone to write a comprehensive review of the product.

Only thing with a blanket/sheet is they get damp if its not a heated garage and need to be dried out regularly
