I have a leak on one. Thinking I may as well change both. However looking on realoem mine show as one pipe going into the oil cooler rad at either end but routed differently to mine? Mine go to the rad side by side on the left as you look at the car from the front. Real Oem shows the pipe that goes to the right side of the rad as routed separately?

Why don't you look to remove the oil cooler, given the
advancement in oils since the 80's the cooler is really no longer required.

They do run together on one side, but out of sight one goes to the other end of the cooler.stick your head under the front and with the undertray removed you can see the pipes.

Picture on realoem is just an illustration of a generic oil cooler pipe. The pics. often bare little relation to the actual object.
Enter your VIN, and you will get the correct part number.
The cheaper alternative is to fit a M20B20 filter adapter and remove the cooler completely.

Buster that's what mine do, but real Oem shows mine to be routed differently. I'm trying to get the part number for the ones that are fitted to my car as you described.
Thanks
Thanks

Presumably these are dealer only, so give them your VIN and let them look up the appropriate part number. If they get it wrong, then it's their problem (assuming yours have never been changed).

I ran my 325i without an oil cooler for years. I dread to think of the cost of new pipes from BMW
