Guys, I'm trying to identify some wheels:

I get bad vibration from them over 70 and it turns out, as they don't quite fit snugly on the hub spigot (there's a bit of space around the hub centre), I've learnt I need spigot spacers. Trouble is, the wiki shows my standard bore size is 57.1 but I haven't a scooby what bore these wheels are! Can anyone identify from those pictures perhaps the markings (I can't work them out) what spigot spacer I need?

Cheers!

How much space?

Are you sure the wheels are nice and true, that the cheapo tyres and horrible tread design on them aren't out of shape, and they're balanced properly?

I'm sure they could do with new tyres and a re-balance, but there's about 2mm of space, from memory all the way round.

Wouldn't I still get vibrations because of this despite tyres and balancing?

If the wheel studs are nice and tight then any vibrations can only be due to unbalanced wheels, not an expensive fix.

Ah ok, I read somewhere that my studs could eventually snap off if the wheel didn't fit snugly on the spigot. Sacare stories to get you to buy spacers....?

Brilliant  Ah well thank you Zoners for saving me a couple of beer tokens :D The tyres are crap but legal (just) and will do to get me to a circuits, if I manage to get one track day out in it.

On second thoughts...
Really terrible vibrations a bit random sometimes fine at 80 sometimes horrific at 65. Thinking perhaps road camber and slope on the m.way. anyhoo...
This is with 4 brand new tyres and wheels balanced. Measured my silly wheel bore size at 66.25 so got the best match plastic spigot adapters I could and even though ive only had chance to dohthe fronts, its a million times better.
I saw a similar thread with heated debate on whether they are needed. I guess strictly speaking no but you have far less chance fitting the wheel correctly whiteout them! ?
will do the rears and post back. ..its looking good tho :D
