Hey folks

Just thought I'd introduce myself to your forum. Looks like a good resource for all us E30 drivers :)

I currently have a Baur convertible with M3 wide arches, pics can be found below.

I know its not your usual and I hope people like it!

As you can probebly asertain from my name I specialise in breaking BMW's specifically E36's (I'am a registered breaker so can often pickup cars to order) so if you ever need engines for conversions or have an E36 yourself then drop me a line, I can probebly help! ;)

Now for the pics!

I havent had it long but the longterm plan is to 325i it, but thats a long way off yet I'm just waaaay to busy!

I know the colours a bit mad I would have personally had it black or white but I brought it like this and its been painted inside the shell, interior, boot, engine bay so it would be madness to change it again!

Thanks for your time :)

Sweet car, i think thats the best M3 rep iv ever seen. Have to say the colour wouldnt be my choice but like you say, there is no point in changing it again.

This is the thing though. I'm in two minds. I can spray and to a fairly high standard so technically I could respray it black which tbh would just be perfect but then its got a yellow inside the engine bay, etc.

The one good thing about the colour is that its dakar yellow so its not some random crappy fiat type yellow :P

Thats a tough one. I think if i was able to spray the car myself i would consider doing it. Its not like you need to keep the car original in any way as its already been modified so you wouldnt loose any value.

Welcome dude. I'd leave the colour if i was you. It's different and that's what a modded car should be. Why would you want to go through all the hassel of modding a car just to look like everyone else? Keep if and fcuk all the boring lot above :D

You could always sell her and buy one of mine winkeye

mate keep the colour it gives it a bit of originality plus it shows off the M3 kit a lot better than black or that dark blue. I really like your cab! :thumb:

welcome to the zone!! Where are you based?

May be in touch some time, just got myself an e36 330d touring, don't know if you touch the oil burners?

I'm not sure if I'll keep the e30 325 at the moment, since getting the 330d it's been sat SORN in the garage, but I can't bring myself to part from it.
