It doesn't. You'd have to use a remote servo (or two) with it.
Note that the adjustable balance bar has to be locked off for road use.

Why would you install a servo?
You use a pedal box so you can delete a servo and run properly specced master cylinders for your brakes. However due a a loss in force being applied by the braking system you will need far larger than standard pistons in your callipers. There's a very good thread about pedal boxes in the motorsport section.
But since you are asking where a servo goes in the system, they will not be of any use to you.

Have a read through the wiki on auto to manual conversions, you will need to use the standard e30 manual pedal box. The Mazda brakes don't offer a big enough increase in piston area to warrant a pedal box.

To be strictly accurate, you don't even have to change the pedal box - just modify or replace the wide brake pedal, and add the clutch pedal and cylinder, etc.
In practice, it's usual just to swap over the box complete, though.

When doing my conversion, I discovered there are infact two types of pedal box, with one having a larger mounting plate, so I just ended up putting the brake and clutch pedals onto my original pedal box.Brianmoooore wrote:To be strictly accurate, you don't even have to change the pedal box - just modify or replace the wide brake pedal, and add the clutch pedal and cylinder, etc.
