Hi, I need to check the timing on my 333i at 2500rpm. For my map I should be getting 40 BTDC. Where are the timing marks on the car? Have access to a strobe with degree input but not sure if this engine has tradional marks.

Thanks a lot

With reference to the balancer? Do they have marks for deg advance or just a single mark. Is there enough visibility with the small amount of clearance with the M30 engined E30's? Not with the car at the moment so cant have a look.

thanks

Single mark, you should be able to see if ok if you have cleaned all the gunk off everything
