Nowt doing today.
Heads on, bolts in, but not torqued up,
went to replace the lower timingcase front seal, and the NEW one from the ELring Headset was the wrong size, to big.
Upper timingcase one was fine.
So, back on Saturday now,as hopefully tomorrow, the correct size seal will be there.

Leave the V8 alone Marc, not owrth the hassle unless it's the 4.4 fooker.
I'm sure the "Sport" box is the same as the standard M30 box

Not alot going on as i still don't have the lower crank seal, but hopefully , that'll be sorted out tomorrow.
So, all i've done to day is some peado cleaning action.
Exhaust heatsheild cleaned and VHT silver used to cover it.

Small update.
Started welding yesterday, and some today.
Looks like it will all be welded up by the weekend.
as there's not too much to sort out.

Front passenger side corner,

And what's left of the touring.
Dropped all the front and rear subframes, and waiting for the scrapman to pick up the shell.

Unfortunately have done nothing much to it....certainly not on the bodywork. My 5 series has been giving me grief so the chromie's been on hold...
Hope to get something started early next year though
