The touring headlining is a fibreglass-type tray with foam backing and then the material cover - if you remove it a good trimmer can re-cover it for you.
Its not a "little" job though - apart from getting the thing in and out the most time consuming bit is removing all trace of the old foam backing

I was thinking of removing mine & recovering it with some sort of suede material. Will the spray glue used for carpets work??

Spray glue doesnt go on evenly no matter how hard you try. I used it and wish I hadnt, its left dark patches on my beige suedette.

Its not a massive job, but its time consuming and you need to be patient. I did it alone when the wife was away for a week and used the dining room table.

I used spray glue with no issues. Three years on it's still holding firm.

Have a look at Bump's thread in the Members Gallery Section on here. He has pics and comments of re-lining his headliner.. Could be helpful to you..

For those that just want a 'quick fix', I once 'repaired' one by fitting hoops of white plastic strip (the lids from plastic electrical mini trunking), just wedged in place.
It was like this for two years, and AFAIK, not one person noticed the bodge in that time.
