Does £260 inc vat sound a reasonable price for a brand new sachs 618 pressure plate?

Cool il try phoning tomorrow. The price iv got was from euro car parts they say they can get it on a special order 7-9 days I gave part number 883 082 999 618 so if this part number iv given is what they can get me it must be right?am I correct in thinking this?

i cant access my emails to get the part number i had but im sure you can cross reference the number online - i also think theres a pdf with all the sachs pressure plates on that site and there indented fitments
as for ordering from ecp if the numbers correct i see no problems just remember that a special order will be a non return item - so get it right, try playing the companies off against each other you will always save abit of £££

well if you was going with a paddle plate and a 618 cover there wouldnt be no difference ive driven mine thro the center of london in heavy traffic with no problem i drove mine as much as i could
it is a little like an on off switch but once you get used to it i could drive it like a slipper clutch
i found if when you lift the pedal to where it bites in stead of lifting it off straight away hold it there till the speed picks up then release it other wise youll stall it lol
the amount of people that jumped in mine and said yeah thats easy and stalled it first time i should have put money on it every time

Splines are the same, but always check the spigot shaft diameter matches the spigot bearing before fitting a BMW box to an engine it wasn't originally fitted to.

How long did it take to arrive from there? I've had quotes of £150 for just the drive plate from companies in UK and its $153 for a complete kit from them!
