318 to 325 conversion not starting no sparks or fuel

Hi guys I have a bmw 318 cab on a 1993 k plate I have done a engine conversion to a 325 i got a the engine out off a pre face lift e30 on a E plate I have done all the wireing I got a loom off a facelift 325 but still not getting no sparks or fuel any help lads thanks

Which ECU are you using?

The pre-facelift had an 073 ECU, which used two crank sensors in the gearbox bellhousing; later facelift engines used a single CPS on the front pulley, along with a 173 or 380 ECU.

I have used a 3 row ecu of a 325i with one crank sensor I did have the 2 crank sensor one but still had the same problem

Same as ever! First check is to connect a 12 volt bulb between the + terminal of the ignition coil and body earth, and check that it lights with the ignition on, and stays lit as the engine cranks.

Five quid says the CPS sensor is plugged into the CID socket on the loom, and vice versa:

Hey got the car running but now my heater r not working and when I am reving my car I am getting a knocking sound from the heater box

The heater are not powering up at all not working the dashboard is still off fuses are ok

Heater pipes are the wrong way around at the bulkhead. Hose from the back of the cylinder head goes to the bottom stub pipe.

hey got one more problem my windows only work when the doors a open and my heats work sometime when the ing is on but never work when the car is started and when the ing is on and the the heater work when i flash it stops working any idea
