Ahh maybe I should look into that Dave. But for now I think I'll go for this:

The 312/294 kit: http://www.300mm.de/312294mm/312294mm.html

But this means that I have to get rid of the rims  ...

UPDATE

Suspension and Brakes has been sold!

KW V3 on the way home, took ages to get the order thru! Apprently KW needs the old struts in return, so I had to fint some old struts and send them to germany.

BMW E46 M3 brakes has been bought for the front setup.

All the old brake lines has been removed, and found out that the old fuel lines has to be replaced as well.

Sorry for late reply - But yes I am, but not with a S62 anymore. The laws in Denmark are complete crazy and will not allow me to run a S62 in my chassis.

I have changed to a S54 with a lot of sweet parts, but ATM I am moving the car to a new shop which should be ready in mid december - hopefully I will have a car running before christmas.

Right I am strugling with a good front brake setup - the BBS rims does not allow much room for calipers.

Ah, Duckmann, that is a shame. You'll still have a fun car in the end though I guess! 8)

I have the 135i 6 piston calipers on the front of mine with 245mm CSL discs. They clear a 17 inch BBS RC041, though need a wheel spacer to clear the spokes. (I have 20mm in my head, but may be less.) Mine are on E36 spindles, though maybe the 300mm guys do something to fit? There is also the option of the smaller M3 discs which still suit the calipers I guess. Let me know if you need any measurements. :)

Yes, I have used days on the phone + mails witht the danish regulations, with no luck. Even tried to get a TÃaV approval thru a good friend in Holland, no luck. The price for a "maybe" approval is 24k£ - and thats without the tax........! The end price will be 30k £ - and only maybe.

Thanks, how do they perform on the E30? - I have tried with the E46 M3 disc, it wont clear the tir rod, need another 7-8mm. I have spindels from Adem, don't know how much difference there is. I'll let you know, and thanks :)

I was hoping for 300-325mm disc since on a minimum 4 pot caliper.

Uh and yes, I still hope to have a fun car, the S54 should give me 360hp :) If that's not enough, I will look for a supercharger, still cheaper than the approval for S62 ;)

i used e46 m3 discs on the front of my car. i had a hub-centric spacer made to go behind the disc, which also has hub-centric lip for the wheel.

how are you allowed the s54, but not the s62 ?

The problem with the E46 disc is that the Wheel will be to wide for the fender, since I need a spacer on the inside and on the outside of the disc to clear the rim aswell.

I'm not :( My problem is a standard check by he police, they will easy see that a V8 is quite special, and will contact the tax office which will book the car. I need to have something that look closer to the original straight six.

What's the ET on those 16" ? - mine is ET20 both front and rear.

Hehe, yes very happy people, execpt us with moded cars, we are very poor :)

Ok, mine is 8" front and 9" rear. The inner lip of the fender has allready been rolled a bit, but no clearance issues with the 9" rim.

Havn't tryed the handbrake yet ;) - maybe I'll have to go with 2mm as well.

Removed 6-7mm on the front fenders today, should give me a bit more space.

Yes, not many modded cars on the roads, the regulations in DK are crazy. You have to have TÃaV on almost everything. We have a tax of 180% on cars, also on the extras, such as aircon, leather seats etc.

The Taxi's has a lower tax, and have a limited mileage as a taxi, after that it normally gets exportet to germany because it's still to expenssive in DK :(

Yes, this is the more "simple" way to go. But I have spend hours and days trying to get my build somewhat approved in Denmark, but hit a wall. A wall that said 25k in extra expenses.

The specs are:

Std Pistons / Rods ARP Rod bolts
Head to CSL Spec
CSL Cams
Vanos removed
Cams locked / Manual Throttle - No Fly by wire
Cold air Intake valve removed
Dry sumped with 3 Port pump, Crank driven
Okada Plasma Ignition coils
Lightweight alloy flywheel
Motec M880 ECU

Standard 5 speed E36 M3 gearbox, with dual clutch.

The engine is in place, so is the gearbox and propshaft.
