Okay, I know that WLN's cars are mint and I'd agree that they are mostly always worth top book, but a K plate 320i convertible for Ԛ£5,850...? Come on, surely not. I know it's mint and has low mileage, but that's decent M3 money...

That does look like a very nice car though, dealers always overprice by alot but i'd still expect that to be worth 4k privately seeing how mint it is.
Show's the trend with E30 prices as they get rarer, the rarer Evo Sport M3's are fetching 15k now in mint condition!

Bet someone will be willing to pay that kinda money for it.
He doesn't normally seem to have stock around for that long ... with the exception of that Malachite Green 325i with no extras.

Yeah but i hope we don't just see a bunch of morons trying to take advantage of that status and putting cars up for silly money. I might have to look into an M3 then if they're gunna keep going up like this.

I think it's bow'd to happen as people see prices of the more desirable models in top condition rising, there going to think their dog rough cars are worht the same because it carries a similar badge. They'll just be in for a shock when no one buys their car.

I do think it was under priced though, could have got more for it...
I feel a bit better though, because I've got a six pot instead...

I can imagine it being cool for cruising down the motorways but Ԛ£900 for the pleasure seems a bit

I think John (c76jon) will dis-agree with you on that comment! He looked at a couple at this sort of price range, and they were nowhere near mint, minters seem to be nearer 20k, one he went to look at even had an Halfords service stamp in the service book!! Can you believe that! An evo sport!!Paul325i wrote:

Classy service history!
You can't believe how cheap some people are. Spend loads to buy a car and then not maintain it.

Hmm. I spoke to a trader just a while back who had just taken delivery of a H or J plate ( I cant remember ) Blue with the lotus leather. It was 1 owner from new with 42k miles and he wanted Ԛ£7,500 for it. I should have bought the bugger. The chap that owned it part X'd it for a Porsche and you know he got fingered (I can just picture the sweetcorn at the end of Mr traders finger ) The long and short of it i guess is that people go to dealers and most of the time pay over inflated prices because they think it's safer, but most dealers are more dodgy than the average Jo off the street. My brother in law use to work for a very large dealers near where we live and he'd tell you, they regularly clocked cars and made up a history for cars. Ԛ£10k for a normal 320 cab is very, very steep in anyones language, but as said before, someone will buy it.
