Hi folks!

How do you think these look on e30 Touring?
It is Jap specific BBS Super RS 17", 5*114.3, 8j and 9j.

Do you think I should keep them? Or should I sell them?
I am not sure if they look OK....

Any advice and suggestions welcome!

Its a personal thing, for me the Super RS's are too big for an e30 and look somewhat similar to the fake reps (I know they're not), a nice set of 16" RS's would go down a treat, or a nice set of Alpina or Hartge wheels in 16" form.

Are you running the touring with those on the front and Alpinas on the rear....? 8O

They look fine to me, but everyone whines about 17" compromising the ride quality. :D

17" BK concrete do-nuts ruin the handling and ride. Those 17s should be a different kettle of poisson, especially at stock or near stock ride height.

How do they feel? The look pretty damn good (IMO).

For my (OEM Homo flatcap) taste, I'd want a bit more sidewall. Superskinny rubber on an E30 makes you look like you're trying too hard. How low is your touring atm?
E30 Touring 0.35 cD - more slippery than prison soap :)

Thanks everyone for your feedback.

I fitted a pair today to make a final decision on whether I should keep these or sell.

After that, I went for a little ride to test them. My God, the ride quality is horrible; nightmarish oversteer; lots of stuff happening in the left side of the vehicle (fitted wheels only on one side) - clunking, chunking, etc. I think that has to do with the wheel adaptors-spacers. On top of that the rear tyre is rubbing a little over fender. In one word, absolute crap. Don't wanna waste my time fine tuning adaptors, rolling fenders, etc.... I will let them go.

Yeah but road testing wheels that might be different sizes/widths/aspect ratios/offsets/rolling radius etc. and then complaining it feels weird.

Being a touring and LHD I'm tempted to say it's one of the run out specials in Daytona Violet

I do like the Bbs but not sure why but they do like reps, would probably be better in 16".
