Hi, I am the proud owner of a neon blue cab and was after some help with the roof. Is there any maintenance I can do prior to pressing the button to lower the roof? It hasn't been used for a couple of years and I don't want to damage it.

If you disconnect both operating motors in the boot, do this when the roof is fully closed (the motors will reconnect with the roof back in this position with out problems) you can then raise the rear part and also open the horseshoe.
Look in the wiki there are a couple of articles (and a video) about roof maintenance. I recall following one which advised disconnecting the raising bar and then greasing all the pivot points. Once this is done and you're happy with the freedom of movement, reconnect the motors (remember the original roof connection prior to disconnecting?)
Now hit the auto raise button.
I presume the roof has worked in the past?
