to be fair gooner, looking at what it was up for and the pics it was crusty, but didnt look over all to bad.

still think its a shame, could have been a nice project

It looked like rubbish , I was suprised Chris wasted any time or money on it to be honest. It should have been put out of its misery years ago.

Its a shed and as Pete has said it needed to be put out its misery as someone down the line would have tarted it up and served it onto some innocent fool for top money

Not bad Sir, haven't been able to do that much so far.
Hopefully weekend after next i'll be able to put in some serious graft.

Jacked the sunroof panel out yesterday afternoon and threw some paint stripper on the roof to sunroof tray lip ready for drilling out the spot welds if i get a chance tomorrow

Nice to see some Tech1 love on this thread. Not sure on how much a 25k Tech1 is worth as there has been one on sale for ages and no takers

what i kept thinking with this car, is how cool as a "rat" type car it would be, if it looked f**ked as it does, but any rot underneath sorted, and a very fast engine and gleaming engine bay, a bit of a millenium falcon
