Waste of time and money. The turbo will be cheap chinese scrap that will destroy itself in no time. The manifold will crack and need constant repair/bracing and I pretty much guarantee the prebent pipes won't be correct so you will have to spend extra ordering new ones. The rest of it will all be cheap and no doubt fail early.
Stay away from generic ebay turbo kits, complete waste of time.
Have a read through this if you are serious. Sums up the ebay kits near the top:

Wouldn't bother turboing a cab, power delivery doesn't suit the cruising nature and they are floppy turds as it is. Wouldn't mind an m30 in a cab though, lazy torquey power perfect for wafting around

Similar kit to how mine started out. Manifold is o.k. cooler is all well. My turbo blows at low revs and managed 25psi repeatedly and still works (p!ng p0ng knock off or not does whats needed). tubing is all standad, I was lucky I have an ac tig at hand. Dunno what the pic is all about though, shows an internally gated turbo and an external gate??? Get injectors and ecu and learn turbocharging with cheap parts, before spunking loads of dosh on expensive stuff!!!

Nothing wrong with those manifolds, good for 450+ and don´t crack from what I have seen.
im selling a turbo/manifold kit with injectors & decompression plate on ebay at the moment

Turboing e30's CAN be a riot, friend of mine did it to his 325 and it was quite amusingly fast.
If you plan to go past about 290bhp then uprated everything is a must.
Beware tho, you will probably need deep pockets to do it properly.

you cant you have to make it your self or get an exhaust center to make you oneleecjones wrote:where can I get a downpipe from??
the only problem with turboing a car thats not as standard is that you cant really go and just buy bits of the shelf some of it is custom work everybodys set up is different so sombody downpipe for example wont or might not fit another with out modifying it again more custom work to make it fit
