Yesterday I drove 75 miles up and through the hills of West Aberdeenshire en route to Braemar to swap my Alpina reps for some BBS, I couldn't resist stopping for some scenic pics of the car with it's new wheels. Was an amazing drive and probably the last one of the year for the Cabrio.

I mentioned it in a different post. The ride is much less "crashy" on bumpy roads and feels much less "nervous" through the bends and on faster straights. Less twitchy and more solid, feels more German now if that makes any sense at all! I think once I get some better rubber on them it will feel worlds different again.

Great. I'll look for the other thread too. I'm currently on the 17" reps (from the previous owner). I've got a set of 15", but haven't got round to putting them on yet....

Is that the normal resting place for your temp needle when it's been running?

Same as mine. That's where it's supposed to be on E30s...It was only starting from E36 when they started to sit bang-on in the middle at normal temp.

Apparently just above 1/4 is normal. I wasn't sure a first either as all my other bmw's sit exactly half way.
