wheel fitment

a friend of mine wanted to know if E36 M3 wheels or E36 fitment is the same as the E30 M3 fitment

i think wheel spacers will be needed to fill the M3 arches but not sure,
any ideas chaps???

yes the bolt pattern is the same but the center spiggots on the e36 are bigger so e36 wheels will fit e30 (with spiggot rings to center the wheel properly) but e30 m3 wheels will not fit e36 unless you can get the center hole of the wheel machined to fit the bigger diameter of the e36 spiggot

ok cheersbut what about the need for spacers or will they go straight on and not rub on the inside/outside
