The e36 m3GT had aluminium doors, lightweight bits and bobs and I think the suspension & arb set up is different.
Also, the engines where hand picked from the last of the 3.0 units and only the very strongest were used, then specced up a bit with a different cam set up with power upped from 280 to about 304 or something like that. Inside they have alcantara suede seats with green leather inserts with black wood trim. On the outside they are all green. They also have the adjustable front splitter that pulls out and retracts from under the front bumber and a high level rear spoiler.
The GT2 is a tarted up Evo in imola red built at the end of the e36s production run as a final special edition.

I meant the model in general was a standard m3 in a nice colour with some bits of plastic stuck on the front and a different rear spoiler.pony wrote:Calling this a tarted up E36 M3 would be a big injustice. Just go and try finding one with this condition and 2 Owners from New, 31k mileage, FBMWSH and this great condition. And anyway weren't the Evolution models significantly upgraded from the 3.0 litre models. This is jaw droppingly beautiful to have one of the best if not the best in the country .... Now that's saying somefink
