Been offered a E21, 2.0 6 pot for little money in bright orange!
now i know its not an E30 but hopefully there are a few BMW nuts on here that know a bit about these.
Are these worth any money?
2 doors better than 4?
is the 2.0l 6 pot a desirable engine?
i cant see many for sale, and cant find one in orange!
so are these actually desirable or not?
Not an E30 but a E21

Ask Verde.
They are very desirable and great cars. There are quite a few on here with 21's squirrelled away.
Personally I would love one.

I would say E21's if all down to personal preference I like em but they are no where near as cult as E30's and never will be.
I've heard a few folk comment on the fact that they handle like a bag of cold sperm as well

Although never a really popular in the UK it does have a cult following, mine gets a lot of comments when filling up etc, even for an old turd that's not worth a lot of money.pac1982 wrote:I would say E21's if all down to personal preference I like em but they are no where near as cult as E30's and never will be.

Don't expect anything anyway near as solid, refined or communicative as an E30. Still a fun car to drive that will keep up with modern traffic, albeit slightly laborious on longer journeys.
The early 320 came as either 4cylinder M10 or 6 cylinder M20, both being bulletproof.

As far as I'm aware e21 was 2 door only, I've had one, a 320 6cyl, it was very cool but drove like utter cack!lhd220turbo wrote:Gents
