Hi I have been looking to fit 17" BBS RS style alloys to my E30 and would like advise if these will fit the car without the need of spacers. The ones I have seen have following spec:

Diameter 17"
FRONT: 7.5J
REAR: 8.5j

Offset FRONT: 35
Offset REAR: 35

Any advise greatly appreciated.

You will not need spacers but you will need arch rolling on the back

Thank you for the advise.

Will I need to roll the arches if I kept them all the same at 7.5J?

what is the max offset that can be fitted before requiring spacers?

Depending on the tyre size and wheel design they highest you want to go with the of off set is et35. You may benefit from at 10mm spacer on the front

Will I need to roll the arches even for 7.5J wheels at the back?

You'll be fine with 7.5j on the back. I think I had a 205/40 tyre fitted on mine.
