Black exterior.
Was thinking of releathering the interior to a dark blood-red, but am hesitant as the plastic door pulls and door pockets are black plastic?
What are my options?

The dash, centre console etc will still be black too, so black handles & pockets will look fine
I've just got round to fitting black handles & pockets in my beige interior, cos I think it actually looks better! Did it in my old car, but only just got some more for this one

Have you thought of 2 tone? I did this for a customers White M3. We reused his centers and I redid the bolsters, headrests and dyed the back panel. http://www.bimmerboard.com/members/euro3/2tone.gif

Thanks for the links to the pics guys.
Two tone leather interiors aren't really my thing nor are the seat pipings in a contrasting colour, a bit too blinging for me.
Looking at the second last pic on the ebay auction, I just remembered that the Mtech sports seat backs are typically black or cream. Can these be recovered as well?
I can live with the black grab handles against a red center on the doors, but am not entirely convinced with 2-tone seats - red in front with a black shell?
Hmmmmm.....

Red and Black go together just fine...

OK it's two tone, but the point remains.

I am actually in the states but willing to ship. Shoot me an email at kchinn@creativeoptions.info. I do not want to make the forum commercial.

imo on a black e30, red leather would be best. thinking of having a re-rim in red too.

the seat backs can be done too. i would go for red too if you have a black car. looks classy.
panesar- go for the retim mate. red would look amazing against silver. not bright red tho
more burgundy like the e30 red seats.

Would this be a recolouring of the rear seat back shell or a re-wrapping of the seat back in matching leather?
