318is seem to be rocketing in value over the last 12 months
http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C437885 is up for 4k, i think the mileage is probably the big selling point, i wonder if it will sell for asking price
do you think this will sell at asking price?

As always it's going to be a case of "find a better one for the money" if you can buy and choose an average one for £1800, could you make it that mint for the extra? Usually not
I think it's e30 in general, I've seen very mint low mile 316 wih asking prices of £2500!!! But again, if you want a minter, it usually the option of that or nothing, so few about now! Sellers market? We can but hope!

4k is the price now for real genuine low milage ones, but only the very best , 2 similar have sold for that recently, the zoners silver one and also another white one up t north, only thing with this car its probably the worst is colour and not really eye catching to look at, but sounds like a great example

with the dwindling numbers of e30's the good ones will always fetch a premium, i think the wiki price guide needs updating!

colour is subjective, condition isnt, so i dont think the colour will hinder any sale (as long as its a genuine BMW factory colour)polsta wrote:4k is the price now for real genuine low milage ones, but only the very best , 2 similar have sold for that recently, the zoners silver one and also another white one up t north, only thing with this car its probably the worst is colour and not really eye catching to look at, but sounds like a great example

Certainly! There's a price premium to add to all E30s now, regardless of engine size and number of doors. It's only rust that brings their value to zero these days.lhd220turbo wrote:with the dwindling numbers of e30's the good ones will always fetch a premium, i think the wiki price guide needs updating!

I've always said the 318is will rocket in value, due to petrol prices its makes an ideal practical classic
