Does anyone know if there's any market for a welded 4.1 diff (small case ) cause i'm running a scrapper in tomorrow and am thinking of chucking it in but I've just thought it's an unusual ratio so thought i'd ask before throwing it in the boot. If it's worth selling I'll do a proper for sale ad & pics next week

4.1 is perfect for a 4-pot engine; it's what the 318iS came with as standard.

What about an open 4:45 small case? Not welded.
Whats the market for them like?

I might of took it as a spare if it was local, with driveshafts?
Any difference in lengths of driveshafts between small case and medium case?
Not sure what ratio is in mine, Realoem dont say. 1990 318is 2 door.

The difference in width is compansated for by output flanges with different thickness.
