The lotus owners club used to meet in The old venue, they all bought their posh wives with them and looked like they'd just stepped out of milllets

Good meet as per, even Pony made it!!
I've been thinking maybe try another venue at some point with a better (bigger) car park and a more central location?
Any suggestions?

Anyone fancy a meet in Richmond (which is in Surrey) .... Has loads of great pubs plus river view
?
And easy access to M3, M25 and M4 ?

Richmond is not central Surrey, its London and its a pain in the arse for traffic!pony wrote:Anyone fancy a meet in Richmond (which is in Surrey) .... Has loads of great pubs plus river view?

I'm sure im not speaking for my self when i say this but when i got to a meet, part of that is the drive there and schlepping across London (something i do every week!) is not appealing.

Has anyone been here?
Its in a good location close to where the A3 crosses the M25 and apparently has a large car park.

Is there not a Good Pub Guide on the Internet with ratings .... Cross reference this with a decent location ?
Not Surrey but I know a wicked pub in Bray
Proper top quality food better than the pub last week
Old fashioned pub
Low ceilings
Good car park
Fire place
Warms the cockles ....
Close to M4
Also they do a great bangers and mash wild boar sausages

I like it Barry but I did notice they don't do mixed Grill. Some of our more distinguished zoners might not be happy !!

How about the Hand and Spear in Weybridge.
Food is pretty good and whilst the pub car park isn't massive the train station car park is spitting distance away and it's huge, free after 6pm too and once all the suits have jumped in there X5's and Range Rovers it's pretty much empty.
