should the rear demister switch light up with the dash lights? (headlights on)

all of the other switches have a soft glow and then go bright when pressed, my rear demister does not have theis glow but does go bright when switched on.

i've so far fitted about 4 different switches from the breakers but have the funny feeling that it's not going to do anything!!!

oh well...

i spent 4 very cold hours sorting my dash light earlier.

i had one electric window switch bulb working (out of a full set of four on the car) one switch light and one backlight for the instruments. no other working bulbs!!!

it now looks very odd as all of the other switches around it (inc the 2 extra touring rear wiper switches) are now illuminated....

i need to get out more! :bolt:

I can modify a switch for you, but need your original switch (sounds like you have spares), and also a spare Hazard light switch (which I canibalise for parts). The cost is Ԛ£7 (or Ԛ£7.50 if paying with Paypal).

Cheers,

Ian.
