I'm after an LSD for my 318is but I don't know which one is best, after reading the wiki I know they came with an 4.10 as an option but is that the best one to get?

Thanks Dave

Depends what you want it to do. If you're a fan of racing around tracks then get a higher diff for better acceleration. If you want better cruising speeds with the occasional fast corner, get a 3.91.

Real question is, why do you want an LSD?

Well the cars a daily driver so sounds like a 3.91 would be good.

I fancy an LSD because at the minute I've got a welded diff which is getting annoying because, 1 I don't drift and 2 it's destroying tyres, but I think if I swapped back to an open diff I would miss the ability to slide the car around abit so an LSD is the best of both worlds.

Another thing I was wondering was do I look for a small or medium case diff, as the wiki says the 325 is the only one with the medium case or do they all fit?
