I just want to leave some positive feadback for Speadtouch. He gives excellent service. I bought the mild chip for my 320i and it makes a huge difference to the smoothness of the engine and improves the low rpm torque issue that the 320i has.

Second transaction with Maurice..
As per usual an easy process with very speedy delivery and comms!
Best, easiest, cheapest mod every e30 should have! Does what it says on the tin, don't be fooled into thinking these chips are a gimmick, they do the trick!

Maurice is a great seller! Very prompt in replying and incredibly helpful. When I had problems with my ECU (chip was soldered in rather than socketed) he gave me some advice and offered to help.
Now that I've fitted it to the car (325i), there's a noticeable difference. The car feels more eager and there's more power before mid-range. Very happy!

Excellent transaction, i received the chip in 6 days, from the UK to Estonia
Got a chip for my 2,7.
Motor has much smoother pull from low end all the way to the redline, the higher redline also compensates very nicely for my problem with too short gears (4,27 Diff). No loss in fuel consumption, maybe even a slight decrease. All in all, money well spent.
Yesterday the girlfriend used the car for a while and even she was surprised how smooth the motor ran .
Cheers.

Mild chip fitted. Followed the chip replacement guide and it was a very easy process. The car is definitely better with the new chip; noticeably more responsive on the throttle and acceleration.
Very good service from Speedtouch with regard to questions / guidance .
One happy customer.

Got the Wild chip for my pre facelift 325i track car today.... had a quick play on first testing, feels smooth, tractable and a noticeable extra speed from top of 3rd gear into 4th. Should help lap times!
Will do some back to back testing on track...... got to wait a month though!
Thanks Maurice, for your excellent service and all your helpful advice.

I can highly recommend Speedtouch as a seller, he is a top fella to deal with with.
Fitted the mild chip in my 325, I've only been for a quick drive so far but have noticed it feels far more responsive and smoother, can't wait to give it a proper go.
Thanks very much Maurice.

Fitted 325 mild chip other day.
Happy with it. Still doing 1st economy trial but results looking favourable.
Also got great help in identifying the chip that came out of the ecu.
Thanks

Just had a speedtouch chip for my 318iS. The idle is improved hugely as well as just off idle and general driveability. A very nice improvement. Many Thanks!

bought an eprom mild chip for the b20, arived within a week which i thought was awesome! considering it came from GB and came to NZ. Maurice, was prompt with sending the chip and his communitcation and helpful advice would definitely make me consider doing business with him again... now for the chip, what a difference! throttle response and low mid range torque improved dramatically, just seeing now how the gas mileage will go but its looking good so far. Im really impressed! cheers man

Very late bit of feedback from me, been running a wild chip since January, on a pretty much stock 325i with greentop injectors. Made a heck of a difference, more power through the band & comes alive around 3,500k. I'd like to say it's improved fuel economy but it's hard to drive gently when it makes such a great noise above 3,000k...
Neally nice chap to deal with, gave me plenty of advice & great communication.
Thank you.

Chip arrived within a day or two after payment. Very fast delivery!
After installing it today I couldn't recommend it enough. Went for the b25 mild chip. Throttle response greatly improved. Car feels much more lively!
Great guy to deal with, always been very helpful with advice and tips also. Great communication and a pleasure to deal with!

Feedback left on behalf of user Royalratch.
Bought M42 chip. Does not work. Tried with 2 ECU's. This seller has been completely unresponsive and has totally ignored multiple emails and PMs. Paid with PayPal gift in good faith so no recourse there.
What now? Why does someone behave like this over £40? How do I get the money back - I have no faith in this seller at all now.
It has been over 3 weeks now.

Since Royalratch was banned from the Zone, I had to communicate with him via 'faissalo', who purports to be a friend of his. I was trying to establish which original BMW chip number he has, since there are three different firmware variants, making the 318is notoriously tricky to chip.
I haven't "totally ignored" the PMs from faissalo, having replied to him on both 21st and 22nd December.

I had similar problems with the m42 chip from speedtouch. I even made a youtube video of the car running with his chip fitted and sent it to him. No response.
I guess he does not have a chip for this car. I just forgot about it and got one elsewhere in the end.
Sure he is a nice guy just unable to chip the 318is

These chips do not work for the M42 and Maurice knows that.
He sent me 2 chips both of them did not work.
I have been patient but enough is enough.
He will gladly take your money but will make excuses he has not received the chip back and so on. He just does not want to refund.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
These chips are cheap for a reason!

I've told this berk that if he returns the chip, I'll gladly refund him in full, but as yet the chip has failed to materialise (he claims to have sent it by standard mail, and has no proof of actually posting it), yet he still demands a refund.

I have had nothing but trouble with this numpty with his copied chips that do not work on the 318is.
I provided the original chip number from my ECU and was sent the 'right chip'.
Tried 2 chips but then told there are 3 different firmwares.....
He just hasnt got a clue and sells chips which he just copies from others.
Keep the £35 Maurice, what goes around comes around.

I have told you at least three times now, that if you return the chip, I'll gladly refund you in full but as yet no chip has arrived, despite your claim to have sent it on 2nd January. I suggest you ask for a receipt as proof of posting next time you need to return something.

Perfect excuse for you, receiving it by normal mail and using that against me!
You seemed like a nice guy but it is clear you have no morals.
Your time will come son... I can promise you that. I know i am not the only one you have ripped off.
Good luck.

I have not ripped you off - and if the chip you claim to have sent back had arrived, I would have refunded you, but the fact of the matter is it has not arrived.
