885 325i cylinder head wanted

I need an 885 head casting for my 1990 325i touring. I'd be grateful for any advise re how to get one. I have seen them on ebay, and from breakers, and on this forum. How can I be as sure as possible that the one I get is a good one? My cylinder head is cracked along the bottom of the cam shaft seating, I believe. My mechanic says the other parts, valves etc are good, and he can refit them into the new head.

Hi there,

I have a good one that comes with a crack test certificate. I bought it to replace the head in my 325i but fitted an M52 instead.

How much do you want for the head? Is it the casting or the head with all the bits fitted? What was the mileage? Anything else I need to know!?
