Hi guys, I have a bit of an issue with my tappets. I noticed a knocking a little while ago which was getting worse so I went to adjust my tappets, only to find the thread on the 5th cylinder tappet pin ruined and not allowing the nut to tighten. I've had a quick look online and can't find anywhere that stocks them. I need to find one soon or an equivalent as the car can't move until then.

BMW will be able to supply a new rocker arm eccentric nut and bolt.

I've got a 1.6 laying about somewhere, would they be the same?

Only if it is a M10 engine. M30 engines also have the same bolt and eccentric setup.
