Not rotten at all. One small scab on the rear quarter under the o/s/r tail light.
It needs four tyres, it has an ABS light issue which may well be the module , the MAF is a bit poorly but otherwise she is a fine chariot . Are you executive enough for a W plate Jim ? I am not, hence the forced sale

Wow that's amazing Pete, 13 years old and only a tiny patch of rust, incredible !
Don't tell Dan that as I think he found more than we both realised under the back end of my old 540i touring and it only has 60 odd k on the clock.
I'm half tempted in strange way, I've had one before, they are good cars and the kids keep moaning at me they can't get their bikes in the e30s

The really annoying thing is that the deal was done back in late march while the car still had five months MOT !!! The car has not moved since then but the owner could not find the paperwork and knowing how unorganised he is, I did not want to collect it until I had the documents in my hand
GGGRRRRR !

Peter go and get yourself a very late E39 540i facelift or E61 M5 Touring FTW
U must have trade contacts that can get u good one cheap
I really think the later E39s look so much nicer than the earlier ones IMO.

Why would I want one of them sorry turdz ? I have a lovely LPG'd Suburban that I could fit an E39 in the back of that is 100% reliable and zero drama, unlike most E39s

You wouldn't need something so big if you didn't have so many 'boyz'pacerpete wrote:pony wrote:Peter go and get yourself a very late E39 540i facelift or E61 M5 Touring FTW

An E39 would not go in the back, and you know it!pacerpete wrote:pony wrote:Peter go and get yourself a very late E39 540i facelift or E61 M5 Touring FTW
