Anyone thought about or started tacking this?
im on night shift at the moment so have lots of time to think of random things to do winkeye

i like the thought of having a digital od
i thought it may have been as easy as just putting the speedo into the E30 cluster but looks like the e36 goes together differently

I vaguely recall someone installing an entire E36 dash in an E30. I think it was featured in Total BMW years ago. Lord knows why they went to the trouble. Not much of it worked either iirc.

Blimey I remember that! Red car? It did look wrong IMHO, think the car was an early m50 conversion!

Not sure why the hell you'd bother if I'm honest.

They look almost exactly the same anyway except the e36 binnacle is rounded which means all sorts of boshing to get it to fit and look half decent.

I'm sure it can be done, but seems like a massive amount of hassle for no gain.

And I'm sat in my e36 looking at a picture of a set of e30 clocks while I write this message
cheers,

harry
