Need some help i have an early 87 320 coupe and after trying to swap the switches i have lost power to the window switches altogether. I think the car has dealer fitted electric windows as the switches and wiring was different to what i have ever seen, fuse 17 and all other fuses are fine.
Everything else works bar the windows, is there a fuse somewhere else? anyone know how to sort it?

Dealer fitted windows should be connected to fuse 17 at the accessories socket, the same as factory fitted ones. The extra circuit to operate them with the doors open may or may not be fitted.
Do you have a circuit breaker switch fitted? Use a 12 volt bulb between the feed wire to this and earth to see if there is power there.
