Technical Exhaust help needed

Hi Guys Hope you can help, looking for a new exhaust but was after more technical help”¦.basically how much different is a Touring exhaust from standard e30 exhaust? Is it just slightly longer straight as I was going to get a standard exhaust and Tig weld an extra stainless section in it

Reason I ask is I’ve been offered a standard stainless exhaust for an E30 as trying to find a 2nd hand one is a nightmare but there are loads of standard e30 ones and as it’s only a budget project don’t want to go crazy on an expensive exhaust

Any other ideas welcome

Touring exhaust is exactly the same as a saloon exhaust. There are no significant differences in the floor pans of the two models.
