Just some proof, also rusty jacking points, a bump under the side skirt suggest rust make be lurking, plus many more issues.

have they sorted the drivers seat on that convertible yet ?
Hexagon love a 100% markup. They are selling a tonced up pig of an E9 CSL for £69995
the very same car that 4 star could not shift at 40k ! In fairness, it has had a new battery fitted !
We won't even talk about the fleet of E46 CSLs that have been detracked/ de councilled and tonced up to try and reel in a victim at 35-40k ! (I believe they have a nice one or two but that will be 50k + !!!!!!)

To be fair Pete, ive worked on most of the E46 CSL's they have/had for sale and there was only the one which was a pig but that was (only!) £36k, as you say the nice ones are £50k+!
The M3 cabrio has had a full engine rebuild by one of our most experienced techs. I've never seen the car but by all accounts its no prize.
They also have a 2dr E30 320iSE auto for £8995! and they recently sold an E36 M3 evo convertible for £17k!
It had only done 35k and was an individual carbon black with modena leather and total spec on a V reg but £17k!

By virtue of their location they have a captive audience of fools with more money than sense.
Respect to anybody who can get top coin for a NICE car but fronting poorly prepped pigs for top dollar is madness !
PS Respect to the fitterz for the grinder 'dust' in the boot of the M3 convertible !
PPS It can't be one of mine, it has a 16" spare !

Rare (and undesireable) option in convertibles. Most convertibles had extended leather, as you would expect in a cae that cost 40 bags in '89 !

Pete you would not believe it they fixed the front seat by using material from the bottom of the back seat (which they used black leather to replace the bubble material they cut out).
Experienced techs on fixing the engine which I have been told they done twice because when they first got it all done it still had a knocking sound, not sure how you could have done a complete rebuild and still get the knocking, that tells me they cut corners and never did it right in the first place. After all that rebuilding they have never tested it to know if it even runs right.

I wish I had that M3 CSL the £38k one that Barry was creaming himself in when he drove it and a fully converted SMGII fan. Now all of a sudden they marked up there prices to £50k plus which is crazy!!!!
Btw they don't fully de council their cars check out the E46 M3 Convertible for sale has "depos lights"
The E36 sold has non original strut brace!!!!!!)?!
Have they really got a E30 for sale wow ?
They only started stocking M3 CSLs again last year 2012. Before that was in 2008 or 2009.
Some of their prices are crazy. I would not pay £70k for a E9 CSL which will have shite brakes be slow and poor handling compared to modern cars.
Hexagon are located by The Bishops Avenue and near Hampstead full of wealthy Jews but I mean would they really all fancy a BMW when they could have something else ?
They do have interesting stock though in their Approved Used Cars.
Shame thought that E30 M3 would be perfect for that price and given is from a BMW Dealer.

Where did you get that crap from?!Fastroad wrote:Experienced techs on fixing the engine which I have been told they done twice because when they first got it all done it still had a knocking sound, not sure how you could have done a complete rebuild and still get the knocking, that tells me they cut corners and never did it right in the first place. Firstly, the car was brought in with a noisey engine. It was a worn out old pig (like a lot of E30 M3's) and sales wanted to spend the bare minimum (like all car traders) so the timing chain and associated parts were replaced which they were told may not cure it but the engine was still noisey so sales had to swallow the cost a a full build including new pistons.
I suggest you get you facts right before running your mouth!
Sales always spend the bare minimum the put a years auc warranty on a car and let that pay for any issues that crop up.
That's not to say all the cars go out the door with issues but there have been one or two.
And to cap it off, what's that old zone saying? "A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay".
Well people are paying!

Firstly before telling me to get the facts before running my mouth wait to receive the answer of where the facts came from, which by the way was Hexagon themselves.bss325i wrote:Where did you get that crap from?!Fastroad wrote:Experienced techs on fixing the engine which I have been told they done twice because when they first got it all done it still had a knocking sound, not sure how you could have done a complete rebuild and still get the knocking, that tells me they cut corners and never did it right in the first place. The information given to me by a member of their staff was said exactly like this " the BMW tech's were not experienced enough to deal with the problem and we decided a full rebuild by a specialist". After this I was shown the £12k bill for rebuild cost and even after that the guy was not sure if it ran properly or if the noise had gone, so say a lot about the whole thing.

Firstly, that'll be one of the sales staff that told you that then and they ain't got a f*cking clue.
They told you that "the BMW techs were not experienced enough and it went to a specialist for a full rebuild" is bollocks and it happened exactly how I said in my last post.
I know this because I work at hexagon in the workshop and can tell you now that the tech that did the full rebuild has worked for BMW since the mid 80's and is bloody good at his job.

Well according to the sale guy the job was not done properly and as they did not bring the tech out for me to have a one to one about it, I was more then willing to accept his version as being fact as he works for the company.bss325i wrote:

So once again I have more then enough right to run my mouth as much as I like. It's your company that is sending out these stories.
