It was the lack of mud that I felt to be the defining characteristic

No you weren't

Petes nearest so far.

Barry knows already as we spoke earlier. He took the piss especially when I said I'd hire it to him for £50 a day when he needed to pick his next interior up from Germany

So heres your last clue before I spill the beans. I've now given the go ahead for my mate to go ahead and secure it as our frag wagon to be based at HQ. I'm fed up with a boot full of shite in the family cars and his company car is gonna be well fooked by the time we've finished with it. So for what it's costing, it'll come in handy for all sorts.

So listen up. It's one of the biggest estates out there. It's a 97 R. Silver, Half leather, Manual (that'll throw you) and handles like a whale on LSD. The last of the properly built ones I think. Some of it may even be French  Although I'm not too sure on that one.

It was 400 quid (tested to May 2014). Its really straight, is a 2 owne car with 82k genuine miles, has 4 new boots and a new back box.

And the give away is that it was favoured by Antique dealers for years (hence the wardrobe clue)

Come on you cooonts, You must get it now!!!!

Renault 4, first introduced in 1961, so hardly an '80s car! :?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_4

I saw a rather nice French Blue one in Herne Bay last weekend - you hardly ever see them nowadays. My parents had a burgundy one back in the late '70s, until the floorpan rusted out.
