Does anybody know if there were any fitting differences of the dash clock (analogue) between the facelift and pre facelift E30's. I've just bought one from ebay and it fits in the whole perfectly but there is nothing to retain it or clip it to

the clocks clip into a square frame which is held to back of the hvac panel by four very small cross-head screws

^^^ as above, the 4 screws hald it in place. No different between years or whether its analogue, digital, 6 button or 13 button OBC's.

I have also got a analogue clock which I plan on fitting ASAP.
I will be removing the OBC which I believe to be working but just has a dodgy screen. Once I have removed the OBC would it be worth anything?

I've got one - it's on a good heater control panel, yours for a tenner posted.
